The Life of William F Przybylowicz

William F. Przybylowicz, 66, of Amherst, died Friday November 24, 2023 at his home after a lengthy illness with cancer.

He was born September 27, 1957 in Lorain and had resided in Amherst for over 25 years.

Bill graduated from Southview High School in 1976 and worked at Lorain Community Hospital & St Joseph Hospital as a Licensed Boiler Operator and Maintenance Director.

Bill enjoyed riding his motorcycle and raising Dutch rabbits to compete in shows. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Guardians and NASCAR. A member of Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ in Lorain, he was also a member of the Men’s Brotherhood of the church.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years Barbara Przybylowicz (nee Bigrigg), daughters: Hilary Duffala (Shaun) of Amherst and Ashley Allison (Dakota) of Parma; granddaughter Aubrey Duffala and brother-in-law Bill Bigrigg of Amherst.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Rosella Przybylowicz (nee Hartley).

The family will receive friends Tuesday November 28, 2023 from 12:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 2:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Home, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. The Rev Peter Toth, retired pastor of Hungarian Reformed UCC, will preside.

Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hungarian Reformed UCC, 1691 E 31st St, Lorain, OH 44055.
