The Life of Francis Fagan Jr.

Francis A. Fagan, Jr. “Frank” passed away peacefully after being surrounded by love of family on November 15, 2023, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly SW Philadelphia and Little Egg Harbor, NJ.

West Philadelphia born and raised; Frank served in the US Army as a Paratrooper.
He worked as a truck driver delivering gas for Exxon and received the Million Mile Safe Driving Recognition. He enjoyed collecting and watching movies, listening to music, reading magazines, people watching, and playing Name that Tune Music Trivia. He loved all animals, but his dogs Sheeba, Sputnik, Scruffy and Shadow held special places in his heart. He loved cream donuts, candy, sweets, and greasy food, earning him the nickname “Fat Back.” He was notable for giving family and friends nicknames, so it’s no surprise that his friends and family had a few nicknames for him, including but not limited to “FAF” and “UF.” He enjoyed time alone, but also enjoyed the camaraderie of social gatherings and shared moments with family members who were also his best friends. Frank was a family man who enjoyed sharing in all the latest fashion trends with his kids, attending every baseball game and dance recital/competition, going to Phillies Family Sunday games, going to the movies with family every Sunday, swimming in the pool, and annually vacationing in the Poconos and the Jersey Shore. He was a hands-on dad and could be observed skiing, ice skating, roller skating, sledding, horseback riding, rifle shooting, paddle boating, boogie boarding, water skiing, go-carting, and riding roller coasters with his children.

Husband of the late Marie Antoinette Fagan.
Son of the late Francis A Fagan and Veronica H. (Homan) Fagan, brother of the late Barbara Snyder, Michael Fagan, Robert Fagan.

Survivors: Loving father of Jamie M. Barber, Francis L. Fagan. Also survived by his grandchildren Jailyn Fagan, Brooklyn Fagan, Jordan Barber. Brother of Elmer “Skeeter” Fagan, Richard “Ricky” Fagan.
