The Life of Joan Peters

 Joan D Peters, 64, of Wilmington, DE, former longtime resident of Clifton Heights, died September 17, 2023 at Wilmington Hospital.  A graduate of Upper Darby High School, class of 1976, she received her degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Joan had been employed as Art Director by Bank of America for over 10 years and had previously worked for Advanta and Shapiro & Connor. She was a member of Grace Chapel and a member of the Red Hat Society. Joan was a movie buff, enjoyed puzzles, board games, reading and puppeteering.   She was also devoted to her cats Gizmo and Stewart. She was the mother of Alexander Peters who died in 2018. Survivors: include her sisters, Donna Siddell, Sharon (John) Morris, brother, Brian Peters, her grandson Nathaniel Peters and many nieces and nephews. 

Service:  there will be Visitation and a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Grace Chapel in Havertown. 10:30 Visitation,

11:00 AM Celebration of Life.

All are welcome to attend.

Contributions: in her memory to Grace Chapel, would be preferred.

Joan was the best. I'll always remember our dinners, trips to the mountains. To many Events to mention. II will deeply miss her.

Cherished

Thoughtful, selfless, giving and a great friend. You could always count on Joan. She had many struggles but her faith carried her threw. She loved her friends and family and would do anything for them. You are missed but now united with your parents, brother and son. Too young to be gone.
