The Life of Mrs. Marie E. Baver

Marie E. (Adams) Baver, 99, of Kutztown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in Willow Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Kutztown. She was the widow of the Ralph E. Baver, who died December 11, 1986.

Born on the family farm in Windsor Township, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Herber) Adams and was a member of Salem-Belleman's Church, Mohrsville. Marie worked as a presser for the former Kutztown Sportswear for many years, until her retirement.

Marie enjoyed word search puzzles, bird and deer watching, and playing BINGO. She also enjoyed bus trips especially to Sight and Sound Theatre.

Marie is survived by her children, Linda G. Baver, Hamburg, and Robert S., husband of Diane S. (Gambler) Baver, Kutztown; and was predeceased by a son, Barry L. Baver on April 29, 1960.

A funeral service to celebrate and honor Marie's life will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., Kutztown, with The Reverend Dr. Patricia A. Horst officiating. Burial will follow in Dunkel's Church Cemetery, Kutztown. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
