The Life of Ms. Eleanor (Kitty) K. Kuntz

Eleanor “Kitty” Kuntz, age 81, of York, went home to be with the Lord at 6:22 AM Saturday, May 20, 2023, at SpiriTrust Lutheran Assisted Living, where she has been living since August of 2022.

Born July 15, 1941, a daughter of the late Frank T. Owens, Jr., and the late Eleanor C. (Wise) Owens, she graduated from William Penn Senior High School and Thompson’s Business College. Her most recent employment was with Best Western Westgate Inn as the director of sales. She was a member of the York Hiking Club and the Tuesday Club at the Jewish Community Center.

Kitty is survived by a sister, Susan Foose, of Timonium, Maryland; a niece, Carol Gamble, of Lutherville, Maryland; and two nephews, Robert Foose, of Baltimore, Maryland, and David Foose, of Timonium, Maryland.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM Friday, May 26, 2023, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with The Rev. Caleb Buttrell officiating. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
