ALBERT KUGLER OBITUARY

KUGLER, Albert Thomas, 64, of Newport News, Va. and formerly of Holiday, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2003 at Hampton VA Hospital in Hampton, Va.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., moved to Holiday in 1971 from Clayton, N.J. and then to Newport News, Va. in 2001.

He was a retired Registered Nurse at Community Hospital of New Port Richey with 15 years of service and previously was head nurse at Anclote Manor in Tarpon Springs with 10 years of service.

He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a two-time Past Master of Tarpon Lodge #112, Tarpon Springs (1994 & 1999), member Scottish Rite, Valley of Tampa, Egypt Temple Shrine, Tampa, Amaranth, Largo, Order of the Eastern Star, Electa Chapter #18, Tarpon Springs, Phi Beta Kappa at Pasco- Hernando Community College, New Port Richey, and volunteered at the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, Tampa.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lois Durst Kugler of Newport News, Va.; son, John Kugler of Terre Haute, Ind.; four daughters, Wendy White of Atlanta, Ga., Debbie Nichols of Ashville, N.C., Linda Balsamo of Port Richey and Lori Boschelli of Newport News, Va.; sister, Delores Ogden of Punta Gorda, Fla.; nine grand- children; and three great- grandchildren.
