The Life of Carol Ruth Rambo

"Carol Ruth Rambo, 88, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away on June 1, 2022.Surrounded by family and friends, Carol passed away peacefully in her sleep.On September 5, 1933, Carol was born to Harry and Irene Westwood of New Jersey. Carol was predeceased by Neil Rambo, her husband of 37 years. Carol is survived by eight children, Nancy Weigle, Raymond Weigle, Linda Base, Robert Weigle, Susan Weigle, Michelle Johnson, Carson Paul Rambo, and Keith Rambo.Carol had 15 grandchildren, Nick Weigle, Shawn Weigle, Gabriel Base, Irene Base, Ian base, Shelly Weigle, Kaylee Weigle, Harry Weigle, Harry Thoemmes, R. J. Johnson, Christopher Rambo, Tommy Rambo, Alexandra Rambo, and Brendle Rambo. Carol also had 13 great-grandchildren. Carol was full of life and loved to laugh. Together with life-long friends Joan and Kathy, they were the original ""Golden Girls"" and lived life to its fullest. Carol loved the beach, boating, and spending time with family and friends. She was a fierce, life-long Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Carol also enjoyed dancing, listening to opera music, watching golf on television, and playing bingo with her Parkview Community family -especially her best friend, Dianna Tilton. Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Joppa, Maryland, this Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Grace and Truth Community Church, 24 East Jarrettsville Road, Forest Hill, MD 21050."
