The Life of NANCY J. RUNCO

Nancy Runco passed from this world to our Lord on January 17, 2022.

Survived by her loving son Michael Runco, daughter-in-law Lisa, granddaughter Lilly, and surviving siblings. Nancy was the founder, along with her son, of Nancy B’s Bakery, home of the best chocolate chip cookie in the world. She was loved by everyone who was lucky enough to know her, who always had a smile and encouraging word to all that walked through the door. To Nancy everyone that came to the bakery were more than customers, they were family. Nancy was an avid football fan, she never missed a Steelers game, and baked for many of the players in addition to various celebrities.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 10:30 AM in Blessed Holy Trinity, Holy Angels Church all are welcome to attend.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the International Elephants Foundation to honor Nancy’s love of elephants. Arrangements are entrusted to George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall.
