The Life of SARAH JANE FETTERS

Sarah Fetters, 55, passed away on October 9, 2021, at her home surrounded by family members and her dogs. She was born November 23, 1965, to Savannah Brawdy.

Sarah will be remembered for her kind-hearted spirit. She had a love for animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed collecting elephant figurines. She also loved crafting, shopping, casinos, auto racing, and drag racing.

Sarah is survived by her loving dogs, Charlie, Angel, and Reggie; her mother, Savannah Brawdy; brothers, Dennis Corbett and Victor (Heather) Brawdy; sisters, Tina (Danny) Wells, Donna Corbett, Tammy (Chris) Nath, Fawn (Ken) Johnson, and Zinna (Steve) Pearson, along with many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Larry (Carol) Fetters, as well as extended family and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband whom she missed dearly, Jerry Fetters; her father, Glenn Allen Corbett; and her beloved puppy, Baby Girl.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Monday evening at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m.
