The Life of Mrs. Andrea Rose Batz

Andrea Rose (Brintzenhoff) Batz, 47, of Blandon, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 in Tower Health - Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, with her family and Pastor by her side. She has been awarded a place in heaven to walk with her Lord and Savior, without pain, never having to suffer again. She was the loving wife of David D. Batz whom she married on September 21, 1996.

Born in Allentown, Andrea was a daughter of Donald L. Brintzenhoff of Lyon Station, and the late Sandra M. (Moyer) Brintzenhoff, who passed away three weeks prior on September 17, 2021. Andrea attended Kutztown Area High School but graduated from Gateway Christian School, Mertztown, in 1991. She then attended Allentown Business School where she received her Associate's degree in Fashion and Marketing.

For the past 11 and 1/2 years, Andrea was employed as a Secretary by East Penn Manufacturing Co., Inc., Lyons, last working September 10th. She would also assist her husband David with his business, D. Batz Carpentry. She was a dedicated and faithful member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fleetwood. Andrea was a wine enthusiast who also enjoyed preparing and planning meals, reading a great romance novel, and trips to the beach with her family and friends. Above all, Andrea loved her family, especially her two daughters. She always took it upon herself to take care of her parents as well. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend who will be sorely missed by so many who loved her in return.

In addition to her husband David, and father, Donald, Andrea is survived by her daughters, Alexis R. Batz, fiancé of David Peterson, Seaford, DE, and Cassandra M. Batz, at home; brothers, Drake A., husband of Mary (Shook) Brintzenhoff, Coopersberg, and their daughters, Nicole and Emily, Martin L. Brintzenhoff, Blandon, and his son, Zachary, Thomas D., husband of Pamela (Gross) Brintzenhoff, Fleetwood, and their children, Travis and Taylor; father and mother-in-law, Donald G., husband of Brenda "Bonnie" M. (Kerchner) Batz, Topton; and brother and sister-in-law, Daniel D., husband of Michelle (Dietrich) Batz, Kutztown, and their daughters, Briahna and Rebecca.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor Andrea's life will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5 W. Arch Street, Fleetwood, with The Reverend John Folk officiating. Burial will be held privately by her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday evening, October 22, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. in the church.

Memories

Always smiling no matter what the circumstances. Shared many hours with her on the switchboard at EPM talking about our kids...good and troubling times and growing up in Lyons. That laugh of hers was one of a kind especially when we talked about wine. Girls, your hearts now have a golden lining for they are filled with wonderful memories of a Mother that loved and cared very deeply about her Family.  Cherish them forever.  Many hugs to all!   ❤️

Working with you

I remember so many times we worked together at the bank! You were such a nice friend and so honest. I know the bank never appreciated us but I did enjoy working with you. I could trust you and you worked so hard. I remember how you loved David so much. I always wondered how and if David and I were related since my great-grandmother was a Batz. Thank you so much for those good memories working together at the main office of the bank.
