The Life of Allison Elizabeth Fee

Beloved wife, mother, and daughter, Allison "Ali" Elizabeth Hildebrand Fee, age 39, passed away at home in Edgewood on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, after a two-year struggle with breast cancer. Ali was born to Deborah Wiemann and Daniel Hildebrand in Pickerington, OH, on September 23, 1981. She graduated from Pickerington High School in 1999. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication from Kent State University in 2004 where she met her future husband, Patrick Fee. After graduation, they moved to Chicago. In 2011, Ali and Patrick married in his hometown of New Castle, PA, and they welcomed Chloe Jane Fee in 2012. Two years later, the trio moved to Pittsburgh to be closer to family. There, son Felix Ruxbin Fee was born in 2016. 

Ali loved to travel and visited places as varied as Canada, Mexico, Lichtenstein, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Thailand. Closer to home, she loved camping and hiking with family and friends. Ali was a devoted wife and mother. She had a goofy sense of humor and a laugh that was undeniably contagious. She enjoyed crafts such as weaving, sewing, and mixed media. She shared her love of crafts through creative projects with her children and inventing healthy and delicious dishes together. 

Ali is survived by her husband, Patrick; her children Chloe and Felix; her mother Deborah; her brother Matthew; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Daniel, and her brother Josh. 

A celebration of Ali’s life will be held for family and friends at Wolfe Memorial, 3604 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Sunday, August 15, from 2:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 4:00pm.
