The Life of Sue Ann Nein

Sue Ann Nein, 63, of Fleetwood, died peacefully, Friday, July 23, 2021, in the In-Patient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.  Born in Reading, Sue was a daughter of Frances (Barlow) McDaniel, Fleetwood, and the late DeWitt C. McDaniel.

Sue was a homemaker and concentrated on caring for her family, including caring for her mother until her illness prevented her from doing so.  Throughout her life, Sue did work part time doing custodial work for several banking institutions.

Sue enjoyed fishing with her family, her dog Chelsea, and watching sitcoms.  Sue enjoyed giving a gag-gift when the occasion presented itself.  She enjoyed making people laugh.

Sue is survived by her four children:  Joey K. Oswald, Mertztown; Korey M. Oswald, Mertztown; Stacey M. Oswald, Mertztown; and Stephanie A. Oswald, Fleetwood. Other survivors include , former long-time companion and father of their children, Dennis P. Oswald, Mertztown; six grandchildren: Alexis F. Oswald; Aiden T. Oswald; Brayden M. Hassler; Sophie A. Hassler; Brielle K. Boyer; and Aria J. Boyer.  There are four siblings: Robert Nein; Colleen McDaniel-Gordon; Dewitt McDaniel; and Kevin McDaniel.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor Sue's life will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with The Rev. Jeffrey J. Butz, officiating.  Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.  There are no public viewing or calling hours.
