The Life of MARY JANE von HARZ

Mary Jane von Harz passed away on May 13, 2021. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 11, 1951, to loving parents, James and Mary Jane von Harz.

Jane is survived by her husband of 29 years, Greg Lankus; brother, John von Harz; sisters, Roz von Harz, Kathy (Dan) Summers, and Sheila Wright, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews whom she loved as if they were her own children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Jane von Harz, and a sister, Pat Weinrich.

Services will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Thursday, May 20, 2021. Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., with funeral mass to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in loving memory of Jane.
