The Life of Tanita M Rhodes

Tanita Moses Rhodes, 71, of Salem went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 22, 2024. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School and worked for Holiday Inn and Krisch Hotels.

After 26 years, she retired from the City of Salem Court Clerk’s Office. She was a loving, devoted mother and a proud Nana. She had a caring heart and a memorable laugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold J. and Josephine C. Moses; and brother, Harold J. “Kip” Moses Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Dawn E. Jones (Chris); son, Brandon L. Rhodes; grandson, Ryan J. Etter; sister, Teresa McGlothin (Gary); sister-in-law, Frankie Moses; nephews, Harold “Butch” Vaughan, James “Jimmy” Moses, and Alex Moses; great niece, Faith Vaughan; and good friend, Leslie Santamaria.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 11:00am at Mountain View Cemetery, 1401 Mountain View Road, Vinton, VA 24179.
