The Life of Dorothy Goodall Robinson
Dorothy M. Robinson, wife of Edwrd Robinson of Derby, entered into eternal rest on February 27, 2009 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was born January 29, 1932 in Derby, daughter of the late Arthur and Emma Thorpe Goodall. Dorothy worked as a unit clerk for Griffin Hospital in Derby. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Derby, was a member of the Ansonia and Derby Senior Centers, and was known for her love of the casino and bingo. In addition to husband, she leaves four sons, David Robinson of Bedofrd, N.H., Gary Robinson of Merrimack, N.H., Kevikn Robinson of Canaan, Maine and Thomas Robinson of Seymour. She leaves two daughters, Deborah Domurad of Derby and Karen Verrastro of Naugatuck; 15 grandchildren, one great grandchild, three nieces and four nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by two brothers, Harry and Arthur Goodall. Funeral services will be held in St. Mary's Church, Derby. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. The Jenkins-King Funeral Home Ansonia is entrusted with the arrangements.
