The Life of Mr. Albert W. Hoover

Albert W. Hoover, 82, passed away January 12, 2021. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Herb) Hoover. Born on July 7, 1938 in Grey, Pa, he was the son of the late Earl and Ruby (Johnston) Hoover.
Albert previously worked as a draftsman for Buchart Horn and York International. After retirement he worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart.
Albert leaves to cherish his memory, three sons, Albert Hoover, Jr, Robert E. Hoover and Andrew J. Hoover; daughter, Rebekah Sandridge; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and brother, Earl Hoover. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Yoder and Reba Dunkleberger. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 4p.m.-6p.m.at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. 822 E. Market Street York, Pa 17403. Burial and graveside service will be on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 11a.m at Prospect Hill Cemetery with Pastor Shan Clek officiating. Family and friends are invited to meet inside the gate on Pennsylvania Ave at 10:45a.m. The Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
