The Life of Michael Joseph Fainer

Michael F. “Mickey” Finer, formerly of Orange, entered into rest on Saturday August 25, 2018 in Hewitt Memorial Hospital, Shelton. He was the devoted husband to the late Terry Phyllis (Yarosh) Finer. Michael was born in Shelton son of the late Michael and Mildred (Lesko) Finer. Mickey started his career as a chef working at Blumenthal’s. He then owned and operated the Finer Real Estate in Shelton for many years. He loved horses and to spend time with his family. He is survived by his adopted daughter Susan Finer, one grandson, one sister, Eleanor Haluschak, one brother, Joseph Finer, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters Dorothy Chapman and Anne Kunz. Friends may call on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:00 am at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. His funeral service will be held at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery
