The Life of Mr. David L. Hoke

David Lee Hoke, 85, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Born in York, PA, he was the son of the late Lester Michael Hoke, Sr. and Pearl Olive Hartman. David worked for Calvary Homes as a Custodian for over 25 years, he retired at age 65. He was a member of Calvary Independent Church and later Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of the Covered Bridges Society of Pennsylvania. David is survived by his niece, Brenda J. Gable of Dillsburg, PA, his two nephews, David C. Gable and Timothy A. Gable (Debbie), both of Dover, PA, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his four siblings, Deloris Gable, Catherine Duncan, Lester Hoke, Jr., and Donnie E. Hoke, his niece, Lori A. Gable, and nephews, Gary L. Gable, Michael E. Duncan, and Steven M. Hoke.
A Graveside Service will be held for David at Prospect Hill Cemetery, 700 N. George Street, York, PA 17404 on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
