The Life of VIVIAN L. BERRY
On this day, June 2, 2020 we celebrate the life of Vivian L. Berrry. Vivian was born May21, 1927. She was the 3rd of 5 children born to Edward Fuller and Minnie Fowler of Mountville, SC; on Thursday May 28, 2020, Vivian Berry departed this life. Vivian’s mother passed away when she was just 11 years old. Later her father met and married Ella Lucas. From the union of Edward Fuller and Ella Lucas 4 children were born, William, Wilma, Winifred and Shervia. Vivian was educated in the Pittsburgh Public school system and attended Westinghouse High School where she met Reginald Rose. They were married and of this union 2 children were born Reginald Jr. and Sylvia. in later years she met and married the handsome Byrd Berry on December 24th 1951. From this union 3 children were born Janet, Marilyn and Melvin. Vivian really enjoyed working and did not retire until she was 74. To know Vivian it to love her, she always had a smile and a laugh no one could forget. She enjoyed life always ready to go. She enjoyed going to the Casino with her sister Shervia and Tobi, playing cards with her girls and son-in-law Louis. She and her daughter enjoyed traveling to Maryland to spend time with her sister Winifred on road trips Happy Days. Vivian attended Macedonia Baptist she enjoyed praise and worship and loved Pastor Bryan Edmonds preaching. Preceding Vivian in death, her husband Byrd Berry, two sons Reginald Rose and Melvin Berry, grandson Rodrick Rose, two brothers Eddie and Lonnie Fuller, two Sisters Olivia Fuller and Catherine Reid. Vivian leaves to cherish her memory two daughters Janet Berry- Freeman and Marilyn Berry-Waller, four grandchildren Stacy and Kelly Rose, Todd and Quinn Berry, six great grandchildren Latrice, Eric, Darell, Osha, Cameron and Laila. Three sisters Wilma Fuller, Shervia Sweat, and Winifred Shreeves, one brother Rev. William Fuller, two sister-in-laws Rachel Berry and Cherylie Fuller, son-in-laws Louis M. Freeman and Ralph Waller and one brother-in-law Gafton (Tobi) Sweat and a host of nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends
