The Life of Joseph J. McBride

Obituary - Joseph J. McBride, 71, of Upper Darby, PA, died March 28, 2020 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he had  been a longtime a resident of Upper Darby and the Poconos. Joe had been employed by the Highway Department of Upper Darby Township for over 25 years before retiring. He loved the Poconos mountains, sitting by bonfires; He loved being around his grandkids, acting goofy and cracking jokes. He was a good friend, always ready help others when needed. Best memories are of his love and devotion to his wife Linda who died in 2013  and as father and grandfather to his family.

Survivors: include his daughters, Patricia McBride (Edward Bildner), Jennifer McKay (Jeremy) and Kimberly Blondo (Brian); 8 grandchildren and brother, John Donohue

Service: Graveside Service  1:00 pm Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026
