The Life of Anne C. Lagos

Anne C Lagos 
May 29, 1931 - February 17, 2020

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Anne was born in Brooklyn, New York to John and Barbara Contos. She was a graduate of Bernard Baruch College, NYC in 1952 with a bachelors degree. Anne married Michael S Lagos on April 26th 1953 and eventually settled in the Philadelphia area where they ran a string of successful dry cleaners in the Main Line area. At that time the couple became very valued members of St Luke’s Greek Orthodox Church and its special community. A woman of enormous faith she was very involved with the Philoptohos Society throughout her lifetime.

Anne is survived by three loving children, Barbara, Steven, and John along with three grandchildren Katharine, Jessica and Michael. She will clearly be missed by her family and friends and remembered for the ray of sunshine she always brought to any place.
