The Life of Lan Ngoc Ly

Lý Ngoc Lan passed away on 2020 February 17, with her family by her side. Her final days were spent surrounded with happiness, love, and laughter. Lan was born on 1944 December 10, in China to parents Lý Thanh Phieu and Lieu Vi. Lan went to Vietnam when she was 5 years old and immigrated to the United States at 45 years old.

Although she was small and frail, Lan is the strongest person that you will ever meet. Lan was determined and she never stopped fighting, no matter how sick she was. Through her, we learn the true meaning of resilience and perseverance.

Lan was a caring daughter, devoted wife, kind daughter-in-law, loving mother, and a respected grandmother. She is survived by her 6 children Lý Kien Phat, Lý Kien Hung, Lý Ngoc Dung, Lý Cuc Hoa, Lý Le Phung, Lý Kien Thanh, and many grandchildren.

As we lay Lan to Rest in Peace, we are reminded of the beautiful woman who loved her family with all of her heart. We will forever feel her love deeply within each and every one of us and we will continue to carry her love throughout our lives and for many generations to come.

A Buddhist Monk will chant prayers from 6pm to 7pm Friday evening, 2020 February 21, followed by her viewing from 7pm to 9pm.

Prayers will continue from 9am to 10am Saturday, 2020 February 22, followed by her burial at 11am.

All services will be held at the Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Rd., Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
