The Life of Milano Leonardis
Milano “Lee” Leonardis of Drexel Hill PA, age 93, passed away peacefully on Friday January 10, 2020, with his family by his side.
Born March 21, 1926, in Philadelphia to immigrant Parents of Constantinople, Greece. Milano proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 24 years, first 2 years in the Merchant Marines and then serving 22 years as a Navy officer and finishing as a retired Chief Yeoman. Traveled the world as a Navy officer and met his late wife Golfo, who stood by his side until they settled
in Upper Darby. Together they shared almost 54 years together. An officer and a respected gentleman who will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his children: Ethel, Constantine(Stacy), Amelia(Mike) Economou, and Joanne(Demetrios) Krontiris. Grandchildren: Alex, Athina, Gabriella, Konstantina, Yianni, Nikolaos, Efthimios, Matthew, Liana, and Pantelis.
