The Life of Dorothy M Quinn


Donna Quinn (nee Stewart) age 94, of Havertown, passed away peacefully on January 8, at the home of her daughter, Diane Denny of Havertown.

She was married to the late Philip J. Quinn, her beloved “Bud”. Born in Hazleton, the daughter of Gertrude and Wilbur, the family moved to Philadelphia in 1942. She lived in her current residence since 1957. The eldest of 6 children, her family was her greatest love; both the one she was born into and the one she raised. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; she was a loving sister, cousin and aunt. She counted her friends as precious treasures and she was a great comfort to many. Her favorite pastimes were reading the Bible, doing cryptograms and crossword puzzles, reading cookbooks and mysteries, decorating for Christmas, baking and she was an avid Jeopardy fan.

In addition to her husband Philip, she is pre-deceased by her sister Miriam (Midge) Issacs and her brother Wilbur (Bucky) Stewart.

Survivors include her daughter Debbie (Steve) Mihoch and Diane (Tim) Denny. Her 7 grandchildren, Kelly (Alex), Jamie, Christopher, Julien (Tom), Josh, Emily Rose and Jonny. Her sisters Edythe (Walt, deceased) Abel and Sandra (Frank) Deldeo, her brother, Donald (Sandy) Stewart, her brother-in-law Tom Issacs and her sister-in-law Betty Stewart.

Relatives and friends are invited to Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington, 2900 State Rd., Drexel Hill, PA 19026 at 10:30 Friday, Jan 17, 2020 for her visitation, followed by her funeral service at 11:30 am.

Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
