Josephine Black Pesaresi, 85, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019. Born October 27, 1933 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Justice Hugo L. Black and Josephine Foster Black. Devoted mother to Martin, Evie and Jody. Adoring grandmother to Sam, Sophie, Charlie and Sterling. Her sense of fun, intelligence, laughter, and warm spirit will live on with us forever.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Alexandria, Virginia.

She helping me through the trauma of my parents demise, life's difficulties and thanks to Jody provided fabulous vacation visits! She loved family but like so many had her own growing up to do!
Thank you Aunt Jojo for my career wardrobe your Brother paid for and you picked out; our sizes fit and Im still enjoying the endless fabulous bounty, finer than I'd buy, She shared with me after going south from NJ! She was my designer, each compliment was met with, " It's a Jojo"!
