The Life of CARMEN M JULIAN

Carmen Mae (Becker) Julian, 94, of

Temple, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2018, in Tower Health Reading Hospital. She was the loving wife for 74 years of Joseph Julian. The couple

celebrated their wedding anniversary on December 1st.

Born in Laureldale, on March 6, 1924, Carmen was the only child of Calvin Becker and Virgie Heckman, and of the Lutheran faith.

Carmen enjoyed bingo and bowling. In her younger years, she was a proud Den Mother of the Cub Scouts in Reading. With her husband, Joseph, she enjoyed 30 years of retirement in Florida.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Carmen was known for her kindness, generosity and graciousness.

In addition to her sweetheart, Joseph, Carmen is

survived by two sons, Joseph Julian Jr., M.D., of State

College, and Jeffrey Julian and his wife, Catherine M. (Hain), of Muhlenberg Twp.; and two grandchildren, Nicole M. Julian, of Laureldale, and Michael J. Julian, of Exeter Twp.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
