The Life of Ann Marie Donton

Ann Marie Donton, 72, of Pottsville, passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday at her daughter Beverly's home.

Born in Pottsville, on July 7, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Eleanora Webber Donton.

Ann Marie was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Pottsville. She was an avid bingo player and loved playing the lottery, playing cards and going to the casino. Ann Marie cherished the time watching her children's and grandchildren's sporting events.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Miah; brothers, Glenn and Bob Edling and Clayton Donton; and sisters, Neida Ford, Laura Lukach, Oleda Hardy and Ellie Mason.

Ann Marie is survived by daughter, Brenda Schuettler; daughter, Beverly Riegel; son, Allan Riegel; son, Benjamin Riegel; daughter, Amanda Riegel and husband, Anthony Sherman; daughter Amber Riegel; daughter, April Shiller-Riegel and wife, Tammi; 13 grandchildren, Aaron, Miranda, Abbey, Alyssa, Cierra, Benjamin, Dasia, Kiliel, Lily, Arieanna, Marcus, Madyson and Makayla; sisters, Joann Schuster and Millie Bachert; beloved nephew, John Mason; other nieces and nephews.

A religious service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon, with Envoy Brad and Gina Harris officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pottsville Free Public Library, 215 W. Market St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
