The Life of Joseph T Garrity

Joseph T. Garrity, 58, of Drexel Hill, PA, died suddenly July 7, 2018 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital.

Born and raised in the Northeast, he was a graduate of Father Judge High School and Temple University. A long time resident of Delaware County, the last 18 years were in Drexel Hill. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a carpentry specialist where he sharpened his construction skills.

Joe was currently employed as a Registered Architect by Array for the past 27 years. An avid golfer, football and TV buff, he enjoyed military and architectural history. A quiet unassuming man, he could always be counted on when needed. He will best be remembered as a loving husband, dad, grumpa brother and uncle. 

Survivors: include his wife of  26 years, Teresa (nee Locke); Sons, Thomas (Jackie), Joseph and Patrick; sisters, Kathlleen Moore, Karen Pashley,  Maureen Christie, Joanne Salinas, brother Kevin Garrity and grandson Anthony

Service: Funeral Service will be 12 noon Monday, July 16, 2018, at Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington, 2900 State Rd., Drexel Hill

Visitation:  10:30 am  Monday at the Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington

Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026

Contributions: in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-9959, would be preferred

Arrangements: Toppitzer Funeral Home, Drexel Hill.
