The Life of LINDA DIANE HURST
Linda Diane Hurst, 62, of Ankeny passed away May 1, 2018 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa. Services for Linda will be on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Urbandale, Iowa.
Linda was born on September 17, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa to Samuel and Liela (Thomas) Hurst. Linda graduated from Urbandale High School in 1973. She worked as a claims representative for Travelers Insurance for 32 years. Linda loved spending time with her family, which included fishing events, and occasional trips to Prairie Meadows.

Linda is survived by her father Sam Hurst of Waukee, IA; brother Stan (Janis) Hurst of Urbandale, IA; sister Lesa Ahrens of Elkhart, IA; brother Sherman (Marj) Hurst of Maryland Heights, MO; nephews T.J, Nick, Corey, Jake, John; two nieces Jennifer Wilkinson and Kalli Hurst; five great nephews and 2 great nieces. She was proceeded in death by her mother Liela (Thomas) Hurst; and a niece Becky.
