The Life of Florence Jean Ebling

F. Jean Ebling, 84, of West West Terrace, Branch Township, passed away on Saturday at home. 
 
Born in Minersville, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Florence Williams Edwards.  She was a 1951 graduate of Minersville High School.  She worked in accounting, having been first employed by the late Russell W. Marr, CPA. 
 
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Pottsville, and the Cressona Chapter #367 Order of the Eastern Star.  Jean was passionate about her animals.  She and Harry were proud of their bulldogs, as well as a domesticated raccoon, Bandit. She was an avid Penn State football fan.  She was well known for her peanut rolls and peanut butter eggs.  
 
Jean is survived by her husband, Harry E. Ebling; her daughter, Leigh Ann Siminitus (spouse, Joseph), Primrose; her granddaughter, Koren Frey, Minersville. 
 
Funeral services are private at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, North Manheim Township.  The family prefers donations to Trinity Episcopal Church or to Hillside SPCA.
