The Life of EUNICE WILLAMETTA CORBIN
Eunice W. Corbin, 79, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017, surrounded by her family. Services will be held 3:30 pm Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens on Monday October 30, 2017, at 2 pm.
Eunice was born September 22, 1938, in Colorado Springs, CO. For Eunice, family always came first. She was known to open her home to anyone who needed a place to stay. Eunice loved to travel, watch movies, read, play cards and games. She enjoyed going for rides in the car and taking cruises or boat rides. Eunice loved watching hummingbirds, wrapping up in cozy blankets, and listening to classic country music.
Eunice is survived by her children, Jerry (Rita) Corbin of Grimes, IA, Jim (Sonia) Corbin of San Diego, CA, and Cindy (Andy) Harvey of Des Moines, IA; brothers, Lowell T (Phyllis) Fennell, Olin J Lovell; sisters, Kathryn (Larry) French, Marie (David) Hammond, Jo Nye, and Anne Lovell;eight grandchildren Heather (Andrew) Paulsen,Monica Corbin, Kyle Corbin, Melanie (Nathan) Kort, Ryan Corbin, Amy (Joel) Klapproth, Amanda Daniel, Jon (Crystal) Welch and ten great grandchildren Eliza Paulsen, Isaiah Paulsen, Adam Myrick, Colin Klapproth, Bradley Klapproth, Amber Klapproth, Landon Daniel, Lilyana Daniel, Breana Welch, Brenden Welch. She was preceded in death by husband, Gerald E Corbin, Sr., parents; brother, Leland Fennell; and her sister, Marion Ferguson.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 - 3:30 pm Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for a future memorial.
