The Life of Michael Oswell Patout
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM
at Our Savior''s Church, 1201 E. Broussard Rd. in Lafayette for Michael
O. Patout, age 67, who died at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at
Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment will be in Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery.
Pastor Jacob Aranza will conduct the funeral services.
Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Cheri Vice Patout; a son, Sebastian Jude Patout; his daughters, Meghan Patout and Astin Vice Dore and (Tommy); a stepdaughter, Nicole Petty; grandchildren, Maddox, Layla, and Gia; his mother-in-law, Sonia Vice and a sister-in-law, Debbie Mercke and (Ray).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oswell Phillip Patout, Jr. and the former Rita Bienvenu; his son, Jeff Kirk Patout; and his brothers, John Patout and Wayne Patout.
Michael was a native of New Iberia and a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana for many years. Mike was recently employed with Sterling Automotive in Lafayette and was President of the Lafayette Auto Dealers Association. He had a large presence in the Auto Industry for 41 years. Mike also served as President of The Rotary Club in New Iberia.
Pallbearers will be Digby Billeaud, Randy Guidry, David Mann, Richard P. Billeaud, Philip Patout, Danny Boyd and Tommy Doré.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bubba Guillory, Dr. James Dobbs, Todd Hebert, Joe Billy Desormeaux and Jeddie Bankston.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s SOUTHSIDE location on Friday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of services.
Memorial contributions can be made in Michael Patout''s name to Autism Society of Acadiana, 3108 W. Pinhook Rd., Lafayette, LA. 70508.
