The Life of Dorothy M Wade

Obituary - Dorothy M. "Dot" (nee McMenamin) Wade, 86, of Glen Mills, PA, died October 5, 2017 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Atlantic City, she was raised in Phila., and was a member of the class of 1949 at Germantown High. Dot had formerly been a resident of Plymouth Meeting for 30 years before moving to Glen Mills in 2008. She had been employed as the Human Resources Manager by BCM Engineering  retiring in 1996 after 35 years. Dot was a member of Incarnation/ Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church, where she was active in the Altar Guild and served as an Usher. Dorothy enjoyed winters in St. Augustine FL and was an animal lover. Along with her husband of 40 years, she spent summers at Locust Lake Village in the Poconos. She volunteered at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown and was a dog walker at Maris Grove.

Survivors: include her husband, Isaac "Ike" Wade, cousins, friends from her church community, Maris Grove and Locust Lake Village.

Service: Funeral Service will be 12 noon Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Incarnation/ Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church, 3000 Garrett Rd., Drexel Hill where visitation begins at 11:30

Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026

Contributions: in her memory to IHS Church or to Faithful Friends Animal Society, 12 Germay Drive Wilmington DE 19804, would be preferred
