The Life of Dorothy E. Patane
Dorothy E. Patane passed away into God's loving and eternal care on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at the Masonic Home of Burlington. She was 99.
Born in Mount Holly, in her early years she lived in Florence and resided in Burlington for most of her life before moving to the Masonic Home.
She was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother who made a house a home. Dorothy's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She loved cooking, and relaxing with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha (Durham) and Walter Cheesman; her husband, Russell Patane; and her son, Joseph Pantane.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Edna Reeve (William) of Harrington, Del., as well as six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Dorothy's life from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at noon on Friday, Sept. 29, at the Dennison McGee Funeral Home, 869 Beverly Road, Burlington. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
