Obituary for Robert Evans
Robert L. Evans passed away peacefully on September 13th surrounded by family at the age of 92. Robert was a former resident of Cinnaminson NJ, Moorestown NJ, and Bonita Springs.
Bob was a long time member of the Riverton Golf Club and Bonita Bay Golf Club. Bob was known for his love of music, dancing, golf, and cards. He was President and Owner of Evans Transportation before he retired to Bonita Bay and was a former president of the PMTA. Bob was a veteran who served his country in World War II. He enjoyed a long healthy life and passed peacefully.
Bob was a loving father to 7 children, six sons Robert, Mark, Lou, Dean, Bryan and David and daughter Jean-Anne (McMahon). He shared 50 years of marriage to his wife Gene (Genevieve Stork Evans) who predeceased him. He was a fun and loving grandfather to many grandchildren.
His family will be celebrating his life at a memorial luncheon at the Riverton Country club on 9/30 at 11:30 am.
