The Life of Bradley Dean Renken


Bradley “Brad” Dean Renken, 35, passed away on September 22, 2014 at his home in Olathe, KS. He was born September 26, 1978 in Midland, Michigan to Robert and Linda Renken.

Brad was a graduate of Olathe South High School. He was employed by Kiewit Eng. For 5 years before becoming ill. Brad was a loyal Kansas City Chiefs’ fan. He also enjoyed watching sports and movies, golfing, playing with his dog, and hanging out with his friends.

Brad is survived by his parents Bob and Linda Renken of Olathe, KS; sister Tara Barnes of Olathe, KS; half-brothers Scott Renken of Downs, KS, Troy Renken of Platteville, CO, and Terry (Rhonda) Renken of Little River, KS; grandmother and step-grandfather Bill and Joanne Hartman of Washington, IA; uncles Jeff (Teri) Wilkerson of Morning Sun, IA, Jim (Deb) Wilkerson of Winfield, IA and Ed (Kerry) Wilkerson of Morning Sun, IA; aunts Rhonda (Steve) Miller of Wayland, IA, Rita Wilkerson of Morning Sun, IA, Pat Newsome of Salina, KS, and Debra Hemmy of Independence, MO; several cousins; special friends Chris (Suzanne) Leach, John (Shana) Beaty, Dan Weiss; and his little buddy Rambo. 

Preceding him in death is his grandmother Judy Kruse and his grandfather Maynard Dean Wilkerson.
