The Life of Elizabeth R. Campbell

Elizabeth Rowan "Betty" Campbell, a former resident of Hatboro, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, in Wesley Enhanced Living, Doylestown.  She was 99.

 She was the loving wife of the late Robert C. Campbell, with whom she had shared 28 years of marriage.

She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Mark) Geddis. 
Betty was a graduate of Germantown High School. She was a Sunday school teacher at Christ Church in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. Betty was employed by Galer and Hults as a bookkeeper. 
She was a long time member of Hatboro Baptist Church.

 

She is survived by her son, Robert R. Campbell (Eileen); three grandchildren, Robert  John Campbell, Andrew Colin Campbell and Jennifer Lynn Bean; four great grandchildren, Sasha, Kyile, Chase and Whitney; her nieces, Roberta Geddis (John), Margaret Geddis, and Elizabeth Ferrell (Buddy); and her grand nephew, Robert Geddis-Hannon.  In additon to her parents and husband, Betty was pre-deceased by her brother Robert Mark Geddis.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, in Hatboro Baptist Church, 32 N. York Rd, Hatboro, PA 19040, where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
 
Interment will be held privately in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
