The Life of ROBERT ALLEN LATSHAW
Robert Allen Latshaw, 67, passed away Saturday, May 27th, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born July 24th, 1949, to John and Janet Latshaw in Des Moines, IA.
Bob graduated from North High School in 1967 and went on to work for the Des Moines Register and Tribune for over 20 years before becoming disabled with MS.
Bob had many cars that he loved over the years including a pink dune-buggy that he liked taking his kids and grandkids for rides in. He had a crying laugh that if you''ve seen, you will never forget. He had a pure kindness to all people that is rare and will be greatly missed by all who met him.
Bob is survived by his children Michael Latshaw of Des Moines, Lori (Richard) Colbert of Summerville, SC and Heather Latshaw of Des Moines; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild with another on the way; brother Larry (Connie) Latshaw of Minburn and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by both his parents.
A private graveside service and burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
