The Life of Virginia J. Dougherty
Virginia (nee Milnor ) Dougherty, 86, of Lansdowne, PA, died May 8, 2017 at home.
Born in Tinicum and raised in Collingdale, she has been a resident of Lansdowne for 65 years. A graduate of Collingdale High School, she had been employed as an Administrative Assistant by State Farm and had worked at Mary Helens Dress Shop on Lansdowne Ave for years.
She was a former member of Tully Memorial Church in Sharon Hill and enjoyed sewing and crafting. Virginia, along with her late husband and children spent summers at their shore home. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a great cook.
Beloved wife of the late William, Survivors: include her children, Patricia Dougherty, William Dougherty, Jr., Karen Principe and Charles Dougherty. also survived by her sisters Gloria Pridgen, Betty Sullivan and Mary Herman and 4 grandchildren
Service: Memorial Service will be 11 AM, Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA 19050
