The Life of IVA MARIE REHA
Iva Marie Reha, 84, died on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Iles Westover Chapel, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., (one hour prior to the service). Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Iva was born in Lucas County, Iowa on December 15, 1932 to Roy and Ruth Lovell. She resided in Des Moines most of her life. She worked at Continental Western Insurance until retirement. She was united in marriage to Donald J. Reha on August 28, 1952.
Iva is survived by her three children, Kim Reha (James Lightner), Jeff (Teresa) Reha and Don (Krista) Reha; five grandchildren, Ashley (Luke) Cataldo, Jared, Jacob, Adam and Jadyn Reha; one great grandson, Cayson Cataldo; siblings, Donna Peed, Chuck Lovell and Shirley (Don) Goodman; sister-in-law, Mary Ann (Burl) Schermerhorn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, Donald; siblings, Doris, Lee and Ted.
Iva enjoyed dancing, playing cards and anything with the grandchildren.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff at Mercy Hospice in Johnston for their wonderful care for Iva and her family. Memorial contributions may be made to her family to be distributed to charities of Iva’s choice.
