Marica was born in Des Moines, Iowa, at Mercy Hospital.  She was a tiny baby and weighed only 3 pounds at birth.  She was the third daughter born to George and Janola Goddard.  Marcia had three sisters:  Janis, Christine and Debra, and a sister Corley and brother Robert that passed away.  Marcia was a blond haired little girl with big brown eyes.  Marcia attended elementary school at Visitation Catholic School and was a member of Visitation Catholic Church during her childhood.  She went to Amos Hiatt Junior High and East High School.  

Marcia had one son who was the love of her life.  Michael Eugene Matherly was born May 11th.  

Marcia lived in Des Moines before moving to Stuart, Iowa.  She loved living in the country and lived there several years.  She moved to Adair for a short period before moving back to the country in Stuart.  

She had many pets over her life but her chihuahua Chloe was always close to her heart.  Marcia had her for many years.  Chloe went a lot of places with her and Mike.  Chloe was much loved.

One of Marcia's favorite things to do was go to the lake.  She loved to raft and swim and just be at the lake.  

Marcia collected lighthouses.  She loved them and had very pretty lighthouses.    

Marcia was a loving friend who would do anything for anyone if she could.
