The Life of Rosie Lee Mack

Rosie Lee Mack went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 28th at her home in the presence of family. She was a beautiful person inside & out, and always had a kind word for anyone she met. Her family meant everything. She loved her husband, children & grandchildren, and was very close to her siblings. Rosie exemplified perseverance, dedication, hard work, love, faith, and trust through her sweet spirit. She was a giver and would literally “give” her last to help someone.

As a woman of God, she believed in offering God the best Praise & Worship from your heart. She was raised in the church and served as an Usher/Door greeter to welcome guest into the house of the Lord. This was truly her calling. Rosie’s smile would brighten anyone’s day followed by a warm hug of love.

Even after being diagnosed with Colon Cancer, Rosie never complained despite the pain she was experiencing. She would often express how having her family around kept her mind in a better place. Her deepest enjoyment was that of watching her children and grandchildren being silly and enjoying each other’s company; which was an inherited trait of Rosie’s comical side. That always made her very happy.

She leaves to cherish her memory by many who loved and adored her. If you had any connection with Rosie, she had a place for you in her heart. And she had a “big” heart that had plenty of room for everyone.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff of Olathe Medical Center Hospice for their care and support of Rosie. Also, a special thank you to those that called, sent text messages, shared cards, brought meals, and volunteered their time to provide comfort for the Mack/Atkins family. Your generosity will never be forgotten.
