The Life of DONNA MAE CLEMENSON
Graveside services will be held Monday, November 14, 2016, for Donna Mae and Milton George Clemenson at 10 a.m. in the Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines, Iowa.
Donna Mae (Hazen) Clemenson passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at home, in the care of the Hospice of the Valley, Visiting Angels, devoted friends and family. Donna was the first born to Nelda and Merle Hazen, November 9, 1932 in Van Meter, Iowa. She spent most of her life in the Des Moines area raising her family; son, Milton Craig (Leanne) Clemenson, and daughter, Christie Mae (Kent) Glesener, before retiring to Mesa, AZ, with her husband, Milt, who preceded her in death, as well as her parents, sister Norma (Harold) Stewart and brother Jacki Hazen. Donna was blessed with 5 grandchildren, Kaianne, McKayla, Adam, Jalinda and Joshua, and 3 great-grandchildren: Cayman, Adaelyn and Evelyn. She also leaves behind sisters Janice (Ardean) Williams and Susan Steinbach as well as numberous nieces and nephews.
Although Milt passed away May 15, 1991, he too has been returned to Des Moines to rest with Donna and other family members.
A Celebration of Life for family will follow the graveside service at Milt and Leanne Clemenson''s home, 1513 Prairie Ridge Dr., Polk City, Iowa. In lieu of flowers a donation will be made to Hospice of the Valley, Phoenix, AZ.
