The Life of VIVIAN MARIE ENGLOFF
Vivian (Mathis) Engloff, 91, passed away on March 18, 2016, at Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines. She was born April 29, 1924, in Des Moines, to Harry and Leona Mathis.
Vivian retired from Methodist Medical Center after many years of service. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church and loved spending time with her family.
Vivian is survived by her brother, Charles (Dorothy) Mathis; sister, Margie Millhollin; many nieces and nephews, as well as dear friends, Georgia and Marg. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; and six siblings.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with a graveside service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Mentor Iowa in loving memory of Vivian.
