The Life of Tyler Matthew Knudsen

Tyler Matthew Knudsen, 23, passed away December 19, 2015. Service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, Kan., (913) 856-7111. Burial will follow at Olathe Memorial Cemetery, Olathe, Kan. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. before the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to District 11 Kansas Fur Harvest Association. Condolences at www.brucefuneralhome.com Tyler was born Feb. 7, 1992, in Olathe, to Tina Marie Knudsen Campbell and Richard Dean Campbell. He graduated from Olathe North. He was a machinist for Marley Cooling Technology in Olathe for the last five years. Tyler was a real outdoorsman, enjoying trapping, hunting, fishing and camping. Tyler married Jamie Lynn Lyons on June 16, 2011, in Olathe. He attended New City Church in Edgerton. Family was the most important thing in life to Tyler. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. He never knew a stranger and wanted to make everyone laugh and smile. He will be dearly missed. Tyler is survived by his wife, Jamie of the home; mother, Tina Marie Knudsen Campbell of Overland Park, Kan.; father, Richard Dean Campbell and step-mother Laurie of Wellsville, Kan.; brothers, Dustin Campbell of Olathe, Jesse Campbell of Overland Park, Wyatt Campbell of Wellsville, and Bailey Knudsen of Overland Park; maternal grandparents, Ron and Coni Knudsen of Ottawa, Kan.; nieces; nephews; and many, many friends.
