Chester Rollins, formerly of this city but who for the past few years has been making his home in Kansas City, died on last Friday and his remains were brought to Olathe Saturday and taken to the home of his mother, Mrs. George Hicks, from which place the funeral was held Sunday, conducted by Rev. Blake of the Second Baptist church, after which the body was laid to rest in the Olathe cemetery. "Chet" as he was familiarly called, was a resident of Olathe for many years and was one of our best colored citizens. He was a brother to our townsman Walley Rollins.
