The Life of Henry B Taylor

HENRY B. TAYLOR.

Henry B. Taylor, only son of Mrs. Harriet H. Taylor, of Olathe died Sunday, March 4th at the age of 14 years. He had been sick for two weeks with stoppage of the bowels. On Friday, the 2d, Dr. Perkins of Kansas City and Dr Johnson cf Olathe performed an operation, but while he gained for a little while, he could not be saved and he passed away Sunday.

Henry was in the first year of the High school and was a very bright and capable boy and was very popular with his classmates, and was well liked by all who knew him. He leaves a mother and two sisters, Mrs. John W. Breyfogle of Olathe, and Mrs. Robert F. Hildebrand of Chicago, to mourn his loss. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the family in their sorrow. The funeral was held Tuesday at 1 p. m. from the house. The services were conducted by Rev. Wm. Elledge of the Congregational church, where Henry was an attendant with his mother, and appropriate music was rendered by a mixed quartette.
