BEN WILLIAMS.

Ben Williams was born in Mills county, Ohio, in 1860. He came with his people to Kansas in 1866, settling in Wyandotte county and later they moved Johnson county,  where, Ben has resided for the past twelve years.

He has been boarding at the Rock hotel for some time and has been feeble and unable to work, but was not considered seriously ill until last Saturday morning when the physician was called. The disease had such a hold on him, however, that he passed away that evening. The funeral services were held Sunday from Ryan's undertaking rooms, Rev. R. P. Stephenson officiating.

His parents are both dead, the mother dying threee years ago.He leaves a sister and three brothers. He was a devoted son to his mother, caring for her with tenderest love in her last hours.
