The Life of John H. Townley
On Friday morning the 6th inst., at his late residence in Argentine, Mr. John ! H. Townley, aged 22 years, 3 months and 27 days.
The deceased was well known to most of the citizens of Olathe. He was a son of Mrs. Mary E. Townley and a grandson of Dr. B. Woodard of this city. For some time past Johnnie has held a very responsible and lucrative position in the railroad service and by his close application to business won the confidence and esteem of his superiors. His remains were brought to this city; and on Saturday afternoon were deposited in the Olathe cemetery. He leaves a wife and a beautiful child to mourn his early death.
