The Life of James B Sampson
DIED:
At his residence, near this city, on the evening of the 8th inst., James B. Sampson, in tbe fifty second year of his age.
Mr. S. had been confined to bis bouse and bed for many months, but was resigned and patient, and when the closing hoar arrived he was prepared to depart la peace, and be with Jesus. He was a worthy member of he First Presbyterian Church, of thscity. Be leaves a wife and daughter, with other friends, to mourn their loss. His funeral was attended from the Presbyterian church on Monday p. m., tbe pastor, Rev. D Williamson officiating. We hope to meet him again.
